Edo has lost an outstanding leader – Delta Speaker

The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, has described Deacon Bright Inegbeniki Idiake as a symbol of strength, compassion and dignity for the Esan people of Edo State.

“Deacon Bright Inegbeniki Idiake was a man of his word” he said.

In a condolence message to the family, Igbuya praised Idiake for his unique leadership, his high moral character and passion for justice.

“Pa Idiake embodied the spirit of Jesus Christ in the way he lived his life and the manner in which he supported the church and the Esan Community. He also took family and business to the heart of his existence” he said.

Igbuya who also described Odiake as a man of peace, said the community leader “will be remembered for inspiring people, demonstrating Christianity in a practical sense and for his never ending generosity of heart”.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the Uzoya of Esanland, Chief Francis Inegbeniki and the entire members of the Inegbeniki clan of Opoji, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.

Ending, he said “may this great son of Esan rest in peace”.

Deacon Inegbeniki passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
