“I am seriously encouraged by your pleasant surprise for me, and I want to thank God for this opportunity, very importantly I dedicate this award first to Gov. Monday Okpebholo.
“This award to me, apart from being a product of prolonged work, is also significantly a product of our governor’s commitment and passion for good work we have to do in the civil service.
“We went to Abuja, we came home with the best award in Institutional, Leadership and Public Service Reforms and that’s deliberate, as you know, the Bureau of Public Service Reforms is the apex reforme body in this country.
“So, if they choose you, it means Edo public service is the best, and this award is a call for greater commitment, it is a call for greater passion, it is a call for greater service delivery to change things for the better”, Okungbowa said.
He expressed appreciation to governor Okpebholo for providing the state civil service the platform to shine across the country.
