The accolade is the latest in a series of acknowledgment that has followed her since she emerged on Nigeria’s creative scene.
Recall that in 2024, she received an honorable mention at the Ministry of Art & Tourism Nigeria Photography Prize, recognizing her skill in blending conceptual artistry with cultural storytelling. Her images, often exploring African identity, heritage, and spirituality, have consistently drawn attention for their painterly aesthetics and meticulous composition.
Ibeme’s rise has been steady and deliberate.
