Health experts at Cerba Lancet Nigeria have called on Nigerians to adopt preventive and proactive approach to their healthcare needs.
They made the call at the unveiling of the centre’s new state-of-the-art reference laboratory in Lagos, as it pioneers preventive health for a healthier future for all Nigerians and West Africans by extension.
The group maintained that the launch signals the company’s commitment to empowering individuals with proactive, accessible healthcare, and providing diagnostics that are both innovative and patient-centred.
They also called on the federal and state government to offer tax breaks, halt ‘japa’ syndrome, curb corruption, establish more health facilities and support technologists and innovators and churn out sound policies and regulations for the advancement of the health sector.
Formerly known as Clina Lancet Laboratories, the facility adopts the Cerba Lancet Africa naming strategy to strategically align with the global vision of the group, the leading network of clinical pathology and medical diagnosis in Africa.
The rebranding is accompanied by a robust preventive health initiative, with services designed to foster early detection and long-term wellness in Nigeria.
“At Cerba Lancet Nigeria, we believe that the future of healthcare lies in prevention, not reaction,” said MD/CEO, Dr. Olayemi Dawodu.
