Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Binash Home, Nafisa Aliyu, has bagged two prestigious Pan-African leadership awards in recognition of her outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship, innovation and Nigeria’s premium home lifestyle industry.

Aliyu received the Africa 100 Award of Recognition as one of the 100 Most Influential African Leaders 2026 at the Africa 100 Leadership Summit held at the British Council, Accra, Ghana. She was also honoured with the TIME100 Special Recognition Award in Lagos for her growing influence as an entrepreneur and founder of one of Nigeria’s emerging premium home lifestyle brands.

Speaking after receiving the honours, Aliyu described the awards as a celebration of the vision and resilience behind Binash Home.

“These awards are a reflection of the incredible journey we have been on at Binash Home. They inspire us to keep building a Nigerian brand that delivers world-class quality while raising the standard for premium home essentials across Africa,” she said.

She recalled that the inspiration for Binash Home came during her years in the real estate industry, where she observed that many homeowners who invested heavily in luxury homes struggled to find premium-quality bedding, towels and home essentials that matched the elegance of their interiors.

Determined to bridge the gap, she founded Binash Home, which has grown into a trusted premium home lifestyle brand offering luxury bedding sets, duvet inserts, pillows, mattress toppers, waterproof mattress protectors, towels, robes and other home essentials designed to deliver hotel-quality comfort.

“We don’t just sell bedding and towels; we create experiences built around comfort, quality and timeless elegance. Every product, every package and every customer interaction reflects that commitment,” she said.

Aliyu said the company now serves homeowners, hotels, resorts, spas, short-let apartments, interior designers, corporate organisations and other hospitality businesses across Nigeria, while maintaining strict quality standards through partnerships with carefully selected global manufacturers.

She added that Binash Home remains focused on expanding beyond Nigeria and building a globally recognised indigenous brand capable of competing with the world’s best home lifestyle companies.
