Nigerian superstar musician Ugwu Nnabuike Emmanuel, profoundly called by his stage name ‘Bigdreamz’, has announced the release of his new extended playlist (EP) dubbed ‘Sure Boy’.
The musician swanked that the forthcoming ‘Sure Boy’ EP will set a new record, as it will introduce a new sound into the Nigerian music industry. Bigdreamz stipulated that the body of work is simply the introduction of a new wave and sound.
After the release of his applauded track, ‘Not For Fashion’, he was asked about his musical project for the year, if his fans should expect another single or EP from him, he replied saying “Yes I am working on my EP (sure boy EP) and it’s simply an introduction of a new wave /sound.”
He also narrated how he started his music journey at age 15 in Junior Secondary School one (JSS1) when he went to his friend’s house, he met his senior brother recording music. He said he was asked to join the recording session, which he did and he has since fallen in love with music.
In his words; “I started my musical journey at 15 and it all started from the day I went home with a friend of mine during my secondary school days. I was still in JSS1 as of then, when we entered, his senior brother was recording and I asked him if I could record and he accepted and guess what I recorded and fell in love with music from that day till now.”
“Well, as time passes by I started falling even deeper and deeper in love with music and each time I hit the studio I always come back home with some nice tunes and my brother will be like it’s dope so I realized am getting better with ease so I kept going.”
“My friends started liking my sound, and it kept on giving me ginger. Now, I have the courage and I can’t stop because music is my thing. I have created many sounds and I still have a lot to do. So, the passion I have for music is endless.”
