The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Alhaji Mai, Mala Bunu, has been declared the winner of the governorship election in Yobe State.
Bunu who was the National Secretary of APC until last October when he joined the governorship seat, polled 444, 703 votes to beat his rival, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amb Umar Magagum who scored 95, 703.
The Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Abubakar, Musa Kundiri, announced the result in Damaturu.
