The National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Media Warriors Forum, Evang. Chinedu Obigwe, has described APC’s purported entreaty toward Governor Chukwuma Soludo as self-defeat.
Obigwe, in a press statement, yesterday, in Awka, said the reported pressure from APC to Soludo was a confirmation that Governor Soludo remained the best among other aspirants, describing him as a beautiful bride already being marketed by his good works in Anambra.
According to him, Anambra APC does not have anybody who can match Governor Soludo in the 2025 governorship election.
His words: “They are not wooing Governor Soludo just because of the incumbency factor, they are wooing him because they know very well that he is among Nigeria’s best brains and that he can be described as the best performing Governor in today Nigeria.
“What I know for sure is that Governor Soludo will not betray APGA by defecting to APC and that he will win the 2025 governorship election convincingly without defecting to APC.
“The threat of APC to activate their plan B to take over Anambra State if Governor Soludo refuses to defect to their party is an empty threat.
He described Governor Soludo as a tested and trusted nationalist ready to support the administration of President Tinubu to succeed for the betterment of Nigerians, but he would not betray APGA by defecting to APC.
“It is now obvious that Ifeanyi (other names withheld by us) and his cohorts are noise makers. The bigwigs in APC are seeing him as an empty vessel that makes the loudest noise”.
“Governor Soludo remains a golden fish that has no hiding place. With him as Anambra Governor till 2030, our state will turn to Africa – Dubai- Taiwan of Nigeria. Ndi Anambra will continue supporting his administration because of the good work he is doing in our State” he said.
