Andy Burnham and King Charless III
King Charles III appointed Andy Burnham as Britain’s Prime Minister on Monday after Keir Starmer officially tendered his resignation.
In a statement, the palace disclosed that Burnham accepted the monarch’s offer and kissed his hand after he was appointed.
“Andrew Burnham MP accepted The King’s offer and kissed hands upon his appointment as Prime Minister,” the statement said.
