Iron Capital has been named Nigeria’s Best Investment Bank for Financing Solutions at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, in recognition of its role in structuring major financing deals and delivering innovative capital market solutions.
The award, announced on July 17, honours the firm’s performance in investment banking, particularly in financing solutions, and highlights its growing influence in Nigeria’s financial sector.
Reacting to the recognition, Chief Executive Officer of Iron Capital, Jubril Enakele, said the award reflects the firm’s commitment to delivering world-class financial solutions tailored to Africa’s unique economic needs.
“This recognition from Euromoney validates our core philosophy of intentionality, depth and quiet authority,” he said. “Over the past seven years, we have built an institution capable of delivering complex cross-border financial solutions that meet global standards while addressing the realities of the African market.”
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are regarded as one of the banking industry’s most prestigious honours, recognising financial institutions that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation and performance. According to Iron Capital, the award acknowledges its expertise in executing multi-billion-naira infrastructure bonds, capital market issuances and complex debt financing transactions.
The firm said it has structured more than N3.11 trillion in financing transactions across Africa through its investment banking, financial advisory, capital markets and asset management businesses.
Iron Capital also noted that it is the first Sub-Saharan African multi-family office licensed in Dubai, a milestone it said has strengthened its ability to connect African wealth with global investment opportunities.
