The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, has launched a magazine titled Palace Diary to strengthen trust between the palace and the public. The public presentation of the magazine was part of his coronation activities.

The monarch said the magazine would serve as the official news journal, sharing accurate information from the palace with the public.

At the event, the chief launcher, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom in Kwara State, praised the initiative. “I am delighted to be part of this lofty idea,” he said.

Oyatoye noted that the magazine, published by the palace, would provide up-to-date information on palace activities.
