A new transportation company, DROP Innovation Limited, has been launched in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja, with a commitment to providing secure, affordable and reliable mobility solutions. The company unveiled its latest innovations in Lagos during a press conference.

During the event, the Chief Executive Officer of DROP, Moyosore Oladehinde, announced that the company will cap its commission for drivers at 8.5 per cent, allowing drivers to retain 91.5 per cent of their earnings. She noted that this initiative aims to help reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

“We will take 8.5 per cent, and the drivers will keep the rest. Our mission is to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction through 24-hour customer service and ongoing service improvements,” she stated.

Oladehinde further mentioned that DROP plans to recruit 1,000 drivers across Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan within the first six months of operation. To facilitate this, the company aims to partner with car dealers to help drivers access vehicles.
