Students in Kebbi State have appreciated the state Governor,Dr. Nasir Idris for providing 100% scholarship to students to acquire knowledge from primary schools to tertiary Institutions.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Students’ Matters, Muhammad Muhammad Majo stated this commendation in Birnin Kebbi, as part of activities of the International Students’ Day.
According to him, “We are happy about the commitment of incumbent administration to the provision of free and accessible education to students and seekers of knowledge”,
“The provision of free education has relieved families of financial burden”,
“With the prevalence of security, development of education infrastructure, provision of instructional materials, construction of good rural and urban roads, students have been provided with the necessary conducive atmosphere for learning to study without fear or distraction”, the Adviser remarked.
He further said that under the able leadership of Comrade Dr Nasir Idris,the implementation of 100 percent payment of scholarship to students of the state which according to him has relieved parents of the financial burden of education.
He said: “this effort has empowered students to pursue their dreams without limitations ‘, he averred.
Majo acknowledged the leadership qualities and sincerity of purpose of Governor Nasir Idris in steering the affairs of Kebbi State to greater heights with immense benefits to students and teachers.
