Following erroneous military drone bombing of Tudun Biri community, killing over 100 persons in Kaduna, the Northern women under the auspices of Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa ( JMA) have expressed sadness over the bloody incident.

The women regretted that no amount of money can bring back human lives lost in the incident, even as many people have called for adequate financial compensation to the victims.

A statement on Thursday by the National President, JMA, Hajiya Rabi Musa Saulawa, the women called for a thorough and detailed investigation into the incident.

This was as the Association extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

According to the statement, “Adequate compensation should be paid to the families of the victims even though no financial support can replace the lives that have been lost, it is imperative that the affected families are taken care of during this difficult time

“Those responsible for this dastardly attack must be identified, held accountable, and brought to justice. Nigerian authorities must ensure that all those involved in the unforgivable act should face the full wrath of the law.

“It is high time for the military to take decisive action to punish members and ensure that such tragic incidents do not occur in the future”

“The safety and security of innocent civilians should be the utmost priority of our armed forces, and any actions to the contrary must be met with swift and appropriate consequences” she added.

“We also urge the relevant authorities to act swiftly and decisively to prevent the recurrence of such a heartbreaking incident and to ensure that justice is served.

“We empathise with the Kaduna State Government and the families that lost their loved ones over the bomb attack in Tudun Biri community In Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State”.
