…Calls on Idanre/Ifedore APC stakeholders to unite behind ambition
As political activities gradually build momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, prominent Ondo state students leader, Comrade Surprise Omotoso, has thrown his weight behind the ambition of a House of Representatives aspirant, Prince Emmanuel Fadola Aderosoye.
He urged leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, particularly in Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, to rally support for Aderosoye’s legislative aspiration.
Omotoso, a former NANS JCC Chairman, made the call during a press briefing earlier today in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
He noted that Aderosoye, a respected indigene of Ilara–Mokin, has built a reputation as an accomplished businessman, progressive political figure, and unwavering grassroots philanthropist whose contributions to community development have been consistent, strategic, and impactful.
Omotoso added that Fadola has over the years invested his time, resources, and influence toward improving the social, economic, and political wellbeing of Idanre and Ifedore people.
According to him, the aspirant is “one of the few individuals whose leadership is not seasonal but consistent, and who has shown genuine commitment to the upliftment of our constituency long before political aspirations came into play”.
He stated that the federal constituency needed Aderosoye for various reasons, including his proven track record of grassroots development “unlike many who make promises only during election season”.
He maintained that Aderosoye has spent years implementing projects and supporting vulnerable groups across both local governments.
“His achievements cut across healthcare, sports development, empowerment, and political capacity-building,” he stressed.
He further said Aderosoye offers fresh energy, credibility, and vision, as he represents a new generation of leaders with integrity, capacity, and community-first orientation.
Omotoso said, “His business background equips him with problem-solving skills, while his philanthropy demonstrates his compassion.
“He understands the needs of the constituency, being a direct contributor and active presence in the community.
“Fadola is in touch with local realities, youth unemployment, infrastructural gaps, women empowerment needs, and political marginalization.
“His solutions come from firsthand understanding. He has already been filling the gaps government failed to address – from sponsoring healthcare costs to providing mobility aids, empowering youths and women, funding community sports, and supporting the APC structure.
He insisted that Aderosoye has been “performing the responsibilities expected of a federal legislator without holding any public office yet” and is also bridge-builder and unifier.
Omotoso emphasised noted that Aderosoye’s programs cut across party lines, religious divides, and local rivalries and his inclusive leadership is crucial for a constituency as diverse as Idanre/Ifedore.
He highlighted notable cross-sector interventions of the aspiring federal lawmaker to include COVID-19 relief support for 500 elderly citizens during lockdown, medical bill sponsorship for the breast cancer treatment of one Ms. Dayo Ayileka from Ilara, donation of 10 wheelchairs to physically-challenged residents including notable beneficiaries such as Mrs. Agbede of Igbara Oke, sponsorship of a grassroots football competition dubbed Aderosoye Football Tournament, among others.
Omotoso emphasised that the constituency must rally around Prince Aderosoye because “this is not just about politics; it is about recognising and rewarding consistent service, integrity, and genuine love for the people.”
He further appealed to APC leaders, youth bodies, community stakeholders, and traditional institutions across Idanre and Ifedore to give Aderosoye the platform to represent the federal constituency in 2027.
