- Says tenure marked by electoral victories
From Priscilla Ediare, Ado-Ekiti
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated the Chairman of the party in the state, Hon.(Barr) Sola Elesin, on the occasion of his birthday, today, November 2.
The party, in a statement by its state’s Publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe, described Elesin as a stabilising force, a bridge-builder and a loyal party man whose calm but firm leadership has continued to foster unity, discipline and progress in the party, noting under his watch, the APC in Ekiti has remained one indivisible family, cohesive, focused and victorious.
It added, ” his tenure has been marked by an enviable and unbroken record of electoral victories. Under his chairmanship, our party recorded a historic back-to-back governorship victory, and has not lost any election in Ekiti State. From presidential, national and state assembly elections to local government elections, it has been victory upon victory, which is a clear testament to his effective leadership, strategic planning and capacity to mobilise and unite.
“On this special day, we thank God Almighty for the gift of his life, for his wisdom, humility, and uncommon commitment to the ideals of our party.
“We pray that the Almighty God will continue to uphold him with good health, renew his strength, grant him greater wisdom, and surround him with peace and joy.
“May his days be long, his tenure be marked by even greater victories for our party, and may God crown all his private and public endeavours with resounding success.
“On behalf of the State Working Committee, the State Executive Committee, and the entire membership of APC across the 16 Local Governments and 177 Wards, we wish our Chairman a Happy Birthday and many happy returns.
Congratulations, Mr. Chairman!”
