A youth group, under the auspices of Ido Youth Vanguard, has honoured Hon Deji Ogunbusuyi, describing him as an icon worthy to be celebrated.

Ogunbusuyi, is the Personal Assistant to the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain World-wide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo.

The youth group, comprising the youths of Ido-Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State said Ogunbusuyi deserved the honour acknowledging his immense contributions to the development of Ido youth and the community at large.

They therefore resolved “to make him their first Icon to be so honoured in the year 2024 as part of the youth resolution to start the Icon Celebration for the year’.

The group, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti said Ogunbusuyi has contributed meaningfully to the development of the youth in the community.

“Hon. Deji Ogunbusuyi has used his good office as the Personal Assistant to Prophet Sam Olu Alo to secure lots of opportunities ranging from youth employment, empowerment, recommendations and apart from his personal contribution in monetary wise.

“He owns a foundation (Deji Ogunbusuyi Foundation) where he pays for SSCE exams of indigent but brilliant students on yearly basis since 2016.

“He is a silent philanthropist, a great model of calmness and loyalty. An influencer of value and substance.

“He has a great passion for the development of Ido indigenes especially youth, he has a language like ”can we get someone from Ido’ to show how much he loves his people to rise.”

The youth noted that Ogunbusuyi always identified with Ido youth Vanguard despite his very tight schedules.
