The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development has spotlighted the Minister, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s, pivotal role in driving President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, especially through flagship social development initiatives.
Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who turned 46 on Sunday, was further praised for her transformative leadership and commitment to national development in a statement signed by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Ahmed Danbazau.
The ministry highlighted Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s “remarkable and impactful” tenure since assuming office, noting tremendous achievements in advancing gender equality, women’s empowerment, child protection, and social inclusion. These efforts, it said, deserve public recognition.

The statement also commended her distinguished career, including roles as former Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Honourable Federal Commissioner at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), and the first female Minister of State for Police Affairs. “Her selfless service to humanity underscores her dedication to nation-building,” the release added.
Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s work, the statement noted, aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly the 2026 Presidential Declaration as the Year of Families and Social Development. Under this, the ministry is implementing a structured, inclusive care approach through the 9-Pillar Renewed Hope Social Impact Intervention (RHSII-774).
The ministry expressed pride in her “exemplary stewardship”, which benefits women and humanity at large.
