Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday commissioned the 11-kilometre Yangoji-Sukuku-Ebo Road in Kwali Area Council, reaffirming his commitment to rural development.
The event was part of a week-long commissioning of six major road projects across the FCT.

He emphasised the significance of the project, stating, “This road is not just about connectivity; it’s about enhancing opportunities for trade and improving access to education and healthcare.”
Wike recalled a stakeholders’ meeting held last year where residents expressed their needs, including road construction. “Thank God Almighty that we made that promise, and today it is a promise made and a promise fulfilled,” he declared, underscoring the administration’s dedication to fulfilling commitments.
The Minister highlighted the administration’s focus on improving security and promised the establishment of new police stations in the region. “Residents can now sleep peacefully at night, confident of the safety of their neighbourhoods,” he noted.
