Widow pleads with Army authorities to release seized son

A widow, Mama Comfort Enyinna,  mother of  an only son, Athur Enyinna,  who was reportedly arrested by the Army, while he was gong to work a forth night ago, and has not been seen since then, has cried out to the Army authorities to release his son, insisting he is not a criminal.

Mama Comfort spoke to Daily Sun in an emotion-laden voice over the disappearance of his son was emphatic that his son, Athur.

According to her , Arthur, who works with  the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), Aba zone, was sick and came home to his community  Abala, in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State for treatment.

“After the treatment, he left back to his base in Aba, and on Thursday, was going  to his office, only for soldiers to stop him and took him away in their van.

“We have visited several Army units in Aba and they told us that he is not with them. I wonder who my son could have offended that planned and executed his arrest ? I plead with the person to pardon him; he is not a criminal. We have also reported his arrest to his office at ASEPA, yet they have not been able  to trace his whereabouts.”

She called on the Military authorities and other relevant Security Agencies whom her son  must have been in their custody to please release him.
