Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has disclosed that his administration had removed about one million children from the streets.

He made the declaration during the News Central’s town hall meeting in Borno yesterday, where he addressed residents, stakeholders and security operatives on the state’s progress and ongoing challenges. He attributed the milestone to efforts in education and social intervention. “We have taken out from the streets nothing less than one million children. The statistics are there, the World Bank and the United Nations can give testimonies to what I said,” he stated.
