Wenger rejects Chinese millions

Under fire Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has failed to take advantage of an easy exit from the Gunners following his rejection of a massive £30million-a-year offer to move to China, according to reports.
The Gunners boss could have become the highest paid manager in the world and been on double what Pep Guardiola earns at Manchester City.
According to the Mirror, an unnamed Chinese Super League club were ready to try and capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding the Frenchman’s Emirates future.
Wenger, 67, has said he is eager to carry on managing at the highest level but mounting pressure for Gunners fans could force him to move elsewhere.
The former Monaco boss’ current £8m-a-year deal runs its course at the end of the season but he knows he can extend that by two more years if he wishes.
But Wenger has refused to commit to the club with the season still ongoing which has put Emirates chiefs on alert that he could leave.
