The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed to deal with anybody jeopardising its leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s health condition as well as plotting his continued detention.
Spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful, in a statement made available to newsmen, yesterday, noted that some politicians have been desperately working against Kanu’s release.
He said: “Those working to destroy Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should know that their evil plots and activities are being monitored. None of the conspirators and their families will be spared, should they continue to play games with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s life and right to liberty.
Powerful, who also accused the Federal Government of not being keen to release Kanu said “the plan of the federal government and their evil collaborators is to use the unending court process to keep Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in illegal detention as they look for other ways to destroy IPOB.
“Supreme Court Justices knew very well that extraordinary rendition is an international crime against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has no case to answer based on the Appeal Court judgments of October 13, 2023.
“Nevertheless, the corrupt cowards on the Supreme Court bench bent the laws and supported the illegal and unlawful persecution of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. All these conspirators will not escape the judgment and venomousz anger of Biafrans, if they fail to do the needful and ensure that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released.
“He who fetches ant infested firewood should expect lizards as guests. Though IPOB is peaceful, we also bite, and we bite hard on those who want to destroy us.”
