The Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi, has reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to inspiring learners through innovative and transformative methods.

With a focus on nurturing curiosity and creativity, the Commission aims to equip students with the vital 21st-century skills necessary to propel the nation toward accelerated socio-economic growth.

Also speaking at the event, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kunda Kids, Mr. Dele Olafuyi, explained that the fair was designed to inspire children, particularly those in public schools, and nurture them to become global citizens.

He explained that it was the first time the fair was being held in Abuja, the nation’s capital, and hoped that the learners drawn from different public and private basic education schools from all parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would find it exciting and beneficial.

The maiden innovation fair was designed to amplify the voices of Nigerian children, promote inclusivity in education, foster collaboration, and encourage innovation, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and other 21st century skills among young learners in a gamified and fun environment.

The event brought together over 500 participants, mainly learners from public and private basic education schools, as well as  teachers and parents.,
