Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) has reiterated its commitment to producing the best students in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This is even as it noted that, in the 2022 UTME, no fewer than 40 of its students scored above 300 and straight A’s in WASSCE, while other students graduated in flying colours.
The college described the success as a masterstroke, which must be upheld.
In a statement titled “Our experience: Exceptional success in UTME and WASSCE,” the school said: “This year is not an exception for us in the great history of academic accomplishment, as we added another feather in our cap through our class of 2022 set results in the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
“Despite the mass record of failure, there was a change in the narrative for us at NTIC, as we have not fewer than 40 students scoring above 300 in UTME and straight A’s in WASSCE, while other students’ academic results were also excellent.
“The exceptional record breakers with above 300 in UTME are: Olaoluwakitan Adegoke Lawal with 348, Opara Chioma Stella with 345, Fahd Idris Onorouzia with 340, Ediomo-Edikan Anthony Umana with 335, Aisha Haruna Abdurahman with 333, Alamin Muhammed Abubakar 329, Khidir Rodiyah Omotola with 328, Mohammed Siraj Salihu 328, Abdur’rahman Bala Yabani with 322 and Muhammad Ishaku Sani with 321.
Others are; Adenuga Abduqahhar Adebowale with 320, Placid Chigozirim Okoro with 319, Adamu Yusuf with 317, Alfred Tijessumi Adesoye and Odogwu Sonia Kamsiyochi with 316, Precious Ugochukwu Okwuego and Huawa Nasidi Geidam with 315, Muthohir Okuniyi with 313, Kareem Dorathy Jesutofunmi with 312, King Godson Alex-Nworie and Itnah Buhari with 311, Ahmad Muhhamad Ibrahim with 310, Charbel Chris Njepuome with 310, Yasir Ahmad Saidu with 309, Mustapha Habeeb Adesoji with 308, Muritala Mariam and Udeani Daniella with 306, Abdullahi Ahmed, Samuel Bassy Duke, John Gwaknan, Aliyu Abubakar and Fatima Ali Abubakar with 305, Adenrele Adedayo Aminat with 303, Muhammad Alhaji Barde with 302, Maina Muhammad Mustafa, Aisha Mahmud Gazara, Kosisochikwu O. Christian, and Nwosu Favour Adaobi, Lasaki Abdurrahman scored 300.
In WASSCE, it said “those who topped the chart are: Opara Chioma Stella had 9A’s and those with straight 8A’s are Placid Chigozirim Okoro scoring 8A’s, Aisha Mahmu Gazara, Adenuga Abdulahhar Adebowale, Odogwu Sonia Kamsiyochi, Muhammad Zainab Babandede, and Olaoluwakitan Adegoke Lawal.”
Others include: Osigwe C. Ekenedilichukwu, Muritala Mariam, Khidir Rodiyah Omotola, King Godson Alex-Nworire scoring 7A’s in WAEC, and Omogolor Danielle Mmachukwu, Bashir Shuaibu Muhammad, Sheriff Sheriff-deen Ayodeji, Kaodilinye Anselm Onyiuke, John Gwaknan, Mustapha Habeeb Adesoji, Hauwa Dangiwa, Aminu Aishat Olabisi, Balogun Waliyat Omolara and Jimoh Haliyah Gbemisola recording 6A’s.”
