Nigeria’s living music legend, Tuface Idibia on Thursday thrilled the National Economics Students Association (NESA), University of Lagos chapter during, “The Expedition Conference” held at the main campus auditorium.
The African Queen crooner took his time to give a touching pep talk to the teeming crowd and also reflected how he moved from grass to grace.
“Whatever you want to become in life, you have to begin preparation from now. Start it young, start it fresh,” Tuface said.
“Yes I know it is not easy, but I can tell you that you have time in your hands at the moment. Don’t give up, keep your head strong, and keep moving. I can also tell you, no idea is useless. No idea is small. We can take a cue from the person that started the now famous ‘tooth-pick’, obviously people would have laughed at him, but we all use it today,” he said.
Tuface, who is a leading brand ambassador for Western Lotto rewarded the first 10 students at the venue who registered for the game with cash gifts.
Western Lotto’s head of digital media Arinze Asiegbunam added that the platform is not just about playing games.
According to him, one of the main focuses of the outfit is about good causes and the company will ensure to support students in tertiary institutions. “We will give partial scholarships to students in all tertiary institutions across the federation, including Unilag.
