Trump demands ‘unconditional surrender’ from Iran before any deal

United States President Donald Trump on Friday declared that there will be no agreement with Iran “except unconditional surrender.”

Trump’s statements reflect a tough approach toward Tehran, leaving little room for negotiation under the current leadership.

Trump said that only after the current Iranian regime surrenders and what he described as “great & acceptable” leaders are chosen, would the U.S. and its allies begin efforts to rebuild the country.

He emphasized that the goal is to “bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.”

Writing on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated:

“After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. IRAN WILL HAVE A GREAT FUTURE. ‘MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!)”
