Ijesha, a community under Itire-Ikate LCDA in Lagos State, will this weekend host Ijesha for Christ, a two-day life-transforming programme of ministration, healing, and charity by Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach.

The programme begins on August 29, 2025, at 5:00pm with an evening of prayers and worship. Activities continue on August 30, 2025, featuring an extensive free medical outreach, which includes: Free laboratory tests and medical consultations, Provision of essential medications, Comprehensive eye examinations with free prescription glasses, Counseling and prayer sessions with pastors.
The day will conclude with a crusade from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, during which children will also receive free school bags and exercise books.
Themed: “Ijesha for Christ,” the event will be held at Fashola Garden, Ijesha Road. The outreach is organised in collaboration with Itire-Ikate LCDA, led by Odunayo O. Daniel.
Convener Dr. Jane Kamanya, alongside other ministers, will lead sessions of worship, healing, and deliverance.
Sharing the vision behind the initiative, Dr. Kamanya said: “My prayer daily is that God, in His infinite mercy, will continue to direct this mandate. The programme is for everyone—there is no discrimination. All are welcome to attend and freely benefit from the ministrations, prayers, and medical care, including free drugs, glasses, laboratory tests, and Bibles. We will also give out shoes, school bags, and other essential items.”
Dr. Kamanya acknowledged the challenges faced in sustaining the mission but noted that passion, grace, and compassion for humanity remain the driving force. She extended an open call for partnerships and support from individuals, corporate bodies, and organisations willing to contribute medications, food items, or other resources to strengthen and expand the outreach.
“Our mandate is to take this vision across Lagos and beyond, so that Nigerians everywhere can encounter the healing power of God through Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach and its partners,” she affirmed.
