The Association of Digital Marketing Professionals (ADMARP), Nigeria’s premier organization for digital marketing practitioners, hosted its annual ADMARP ceremony on 9th, November 2023. The event was a gathering of digital marketing professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from Nigeria and beyond, who came to learn, share, and network on various aspects of the industry.

 

The event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, covering topics such as digital marketing strategies, tools, metrics, challenges, opportunities, and more.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the ADMARP Awards 2023, which recognized and celebrated the 25 digital marketers who have shown outstanding achievements and contributions to the industry.

 

The ADMARP Awards are the most prestigious awards for digital marketing professionals in Nigeria, and they showcase the excellence, innovation, and leadership of the best digital marketers in the country. The 25 awardees were selected from different fields and sectors, and they received their awards at the ADMARP Day 2023.

 

Among the awardees, Chisom Bikawei is a seasoned digital marketing specialist with a decade of experience in various industries, such as FMCG, telecom, aviation, tech, finance, retail, and energy. She has mastered both traditional and digital media, designing and implementing marketing campaigns that enhance the growth and profitability of many brands. She is currently the head of the digital division at All Seasons Zenith, where she ensures client and business satisfaction.

 

Another awardee, Leonardo Okpeh, is the CEO and co-founder of Smartbloks INC (formerly called AIWA). He is a visionary who is passionate about solving problems and being a catalyst for success in this digital age. With a background in computer science and mathematics, Leon has a unique blend of technical expertise and analytical acumen. His love for SaaS (Software as a Service) is evident as he actively builds and creates products that address real-world challenges.

 

Israel Oladipupo Ogunseye is a digital marketing leader with over a decade of experience leading marketing in companies like PalmPay, Sterling Bank, CoralPay, and many others. He has delivered results for organizations using marketing

Adetunji Adelekan is a Digital performance marketing leader with 12 years of experience and expertise in performance marketing, strategy, data analysis, media planning, media buying, and marketing intelligence. As the Head of Paid Digital Media at MediaCom, a global media agency that creates innovative and effective solutions for clients, his mission is to leverage his expertise to drive growth and value for clients.

 

Daniel Chukwu is a digital marketing leader with 6+ years of experience crafting tailored digital solutions to achieve business goals. His background includes 2 years in publishing and online reputation management, contributing to a versatile skill set. Committed to leveraging expertise for digital success. Daniel leads the digital team at YBR managing end-to-end digital solutions for NAMPAK, VFD Group, Truecaller, William Lawson’s, and USAID.

Currently, the Digital Marketing Manager at SevenUp Bottling Company, she is entrusted with steering the digital marketing efforts of the Consumer Soft Drinks (CSD) conglomerate, SBC, in addition to handling other significant responsibilities.

 

Also among the awardees, Elizabeth A. Ogunseye is a seasoned Digital/Product Marketing Specialist at Zabira Technologies, a leading cryptocurrency and gift card trading tech company based in Nigeria. With over six years of experience in B2B marketing, community building, and product marketing across diverse industries, Elizabeth stands as a driving force. A dedicated content creator, Elizabeth’s passion lies in developing engaging and informative content. Beyond her marketing prowess, Elizabeth is a certified relationship workshop facilitator, a blog/vlogger, and a TV host.

 

Currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies at the National Open University of Nigeria.

Another awardee, Ebuka Chidube, is a seasoned social media manager of 4 years who has managed and grown over 20 companies on social media, including Eko Hotels, Big Brother Campaigns of SAGA, and DOTUN. He transitioned into tech marketing in 2022 and has since handled digital marketing for brands like Lenco, i-Fitness, AltSchool, Deciphr AI, Your Study Path, and many others.

 

Currently, he drives digital marketing for Piggyvest. Ebuka is a data-led growth marketer who loves to run experiments and grow the numbers of any organization he works with. With a background in counseling psychology, he has easily been able to deep dive into the behaviour of customers and clients in multiple industries.

The ADMARP Day 2023 also showcased the achievements and initiatives of the association, which was established in 2018 to provide a structured platform for digital marketing practitioners to contribute to the body of knowledge and influence developmental changes in the Nigerian digital media and marketing space. The association offers professional membership, training, certification, resources, community, and advocacy for digital marketers in Nigeria.
