Music diva, Tiwa Savage has disclosed that she was once romantically involved with a fellow celebrity who insisted on keeping their relationship private.
Tiwa Savage made the revelation during a recent appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast.
She said the male celebrity made a show of talking to other people whenever they appeared in public together to throw off suspicion.
“He told me he didn’t want us to go public. He said, ‘When we’re out, I might be talking to other people, but I’m only doing it so people don’t suspect.’ And I was like, okay, but how far are you going with this?” she recounted.
Tiwa Savage said she found the explanation plausible but the relationship dynamic “disrespectful” and emotionally draining.
She explained, “He had it good. We might be at the same event, and he’s probably talking, laughing, even touching other ladies while still looking at me like, ‘Don’t worry, I’m just doing it.’ And I couldn’t say anything. It was happening right in front of me.”
In December, Tiwa Savage revealed that every man she ever dated cheated but she never left because of that.
