President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of President Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other officials.
In a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed profound grief over this devastating event. He described President Raisi as a leader who was passionately dedicated to the development of Iran.
President Tinubu offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the Iranian nation. On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, he assured the Islamic Republic of Iran of Nigeria’s support and prayers during this difficult time.
