President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following as Special Advisers.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Information in the State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, Dele Alake is the Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy; Yau Darazo, Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Wale Edun, Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; and Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy.

Others are Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue; Nuhu Ribadu, Special Adviser, Security; John Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment; and Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.

The Senate had on June 7th approved the request of President Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers (SAs).

Tinubu’s request was read by the then Senate President Ahmad Lawan on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.

In the request to the Senate, the President did not list who the 20 Special advisers are.
