President of the Concerned Nigerian Network in Diaspora and Rebuild Nigeria Movement (CNNDRNM), Ambassador James Erebuoye, has appealed to Nigerians to support the efforts of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to make Nigeria better.

He said the President cannot solely provide lasting solutions to the socio-economic hardship being experienced in Nigeria, insisting that full support and collaboration of Nigerians are required for him to succeed.

Amb. Erebuoye, in a statement, released in Abuja, explained that the solutions to the current socioeconomic challenges in the country is largely dependent on a sincere social and ethical reorientation of Nigerians in all areas of public and domestic engagements.

He, thus tasked Nigerians to be patriotic, honest and sincere in their various engagements stressing that such traits can go a long way in restoring socio-economic and moral sanity to Nigeria.

He also insisted that President Tinubu was doing well within his capacity to deliver on the mandate and demands of the office, and challenged Nigerians to focus not only on the President, but hold their Governors, Senators and even their Council Chairmen and Ward Councillors to accountability.

“Most of the problems we are facing are mostly issues on the concurrent and residual legislative list. This means they are items that can actually be handled by the states and local governments. Unfortunately, the whole talk is about the President who, to a reasonable extent, did not cause most of these problems,” Erebuoye said.

He asked Nigerians not to lose hope, but maintain a firm believe that Nigeria will soon rise above these challenges, even as he recalled that most of the economically viable nations like Singapore, once passed through worst socioeconomic challenges.
