The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and election of his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat as governor would keep Lagos on the path of development.
Sanwo-Olu made the assertion at the palace of the Paramount Ruler of Ikorodu Division and Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, on Thursday during a meeting with traditional rulers and political leaders in the Ikorodu Division of the state.
On the governor’s entourage were Hamzat; deputy governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Princess Damilola Sonayon-James; Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelious Ojelabi; and members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC).
Sanwo-Olu thanked traditional rulers and political leaders in the division for their unwavering support for the APC.
He said Tinubu deserved to be re-elected based on his records of achievement in Lagos and across the nation.
