The Lead of Nelson Iheagwam Ministries, Nelson Iheagwam has urged the church to challenge culturally immoral norms. The Pastor who is also a gospel artiste noted that the church is a moral institution and her role will be would be to speak against ills, injustice, challenge culturally immoral norms and contribute to humanitarian causes.
“The church is a moral institution and I think the role of the church largely would be to speak against ills, injustice, challenge culturally immoral norms and contribute to humanitarian causes. From the pulpit and off the pulpit, in person and online, by example and in speaking; we must contribute to the above causes to contribute to social change. As someone who leads young people, I would advise as I usually would; Youth isn’t a time for foolishness, it isn’t a time to indulge all your passions, it’s a time to follow hard after God and make investments into your tomorrow. Any young person involved in scheming and scamming isn’t really setting the best foundations for their tomorrow. Youth is a time to set foundations and that’s what I help those who follow me do”.
Asked about his forthcoming event, ‘Supernatural Class’, holding on 8th April 2023, he said:” Supernatural Class Lagos is a divine summon honestly. It has been this meeting where God meets with people and yes we see miracles and God meet needs but most importantly, God gives his own heart desires and burdens to people.
God has changed many and shifted people from this meeting. I’m always in awe of what God does and it expands my heart on what more God can do. I’m even eager as to the next one coming. I’m especially eager to see the word being properly taught and light break open in hearts”.
