As digital transformation gathers pace across industries, technology leaders are intensifying conversations around the future of enterprise networking, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and next-generation connectivity.
In a move aimed at preparing organisations for the demands of an increasingly digital economy, TD Africa, in partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Operated by Selectium, convened an engagement forum recently to examine emerging technologies reshaping enterprise infrastructure.
The event brought together technology partners and industry stakeholders to address a pressing concern confronting businesses: whether existing infrastructure can withstand the speed and complexity of modern digital transformation.
Discussions at the forum spotlighted the growing adoption of WiFi 7 technology and the transition from conventional networking systems to intelligent, AI-powered infrastructure capable of delivering faster, smarter and more secure connectivity.

Participants explored key trends driving enterprise transformation, including edge-to-cloud connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) integration, AI-enabled networking and advanced security systems, amid rising demand for scalable and resilient digital infrastructure.
Speaking during the engagement, Country Manager, HPE Operated by Selectium, Dr. Ifee Kojo, said the technology firm remains focused on supporting organisations seeking to modernise and remain competitive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
According to her, HPE is advancing transformation across the technology ecosystem, spanning data centres, edge computing, IoT and AI-driven connectivity.
“HPE is driving transformation across the entire technology ecosystem, from the data centre to the edge, from IoT to AI-powered connectivity. Our focus is on helping businesses strengthen security, improve scalability, and build intelligent infrastructures that support innovation and growth.
“Through our strong partner TD Africa, we can extend these solutions more effectively into the market, ensuring organisations have access to the right technologies needed to compete and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world,” Kojo stated.
Also speaking, Coordinating Managing Director of TD Africa, Chioma Chimere, stressed that networking has evolved beyond basic connectivity and now serves as a critical driver of enterprise growth and resilience.
She noted that with organisations increasingly adopting artificial intelligence, cloud-based systems, remote operations and data-driven models, investment in secure and intelligent infrastructure has become non-negotiable.
“Networking today is no longer just about connectivity; it has become the backbone of enterprise transformation. As organisations embrace AI, cloud environments, remote operations, and data-driven systems, the need for secure, intelligent, and scalable infrastructure becomes even more critical.
“TD Africa is committed to ensuring our partners are equipped with the right technologies, insights and support needed to navigate this shift successfully. Our collaboration with HPE reflects our shared commitment to helping businesses modernise confidently and prepare for the future of digital innovation,” Chimere said.
Through partnerships with global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as HPE, TD Africa continues to expand access to enterprise and networking solutions across Africa, positioning itself as a major technology distributor supporting digital growth through technical expertise, ecosystem partnerships and market reach.
