For Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP), the year 2023 ended on a good note, as one of its premium programmes and nation’s favourite drama series, Superstory won the Television Drama of the Year award at the 31st edition of Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA) held at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos on Sunday December 17, 2023.
Speaking on the feat, Wale Adenuga Jnr., producer of Superstory, says, “Since Superstory started airing in 2001, we have never stopped working hard to ensure the relevance, relatability and timeliness of our different stories being watched by several generations of viewers from various backgrounds. We appreciate the organisers of this event for recognising our efforts, and we assure Nigerians that we still have lots of mind-blowing surprises coming soon.”
For over 22 years, Superstory has been providing highly-engaging stories that entertain and enlighten Nigerians home and abroad, and this is why many corporate brands, government MDAs, NGOs and others regularly partner with WAP to get their messages across to millions of viewers of Superstory.
Superstory currently airs on NTA Network every Thursday from 8-9pm, AIT Network every Thursday from 9-10pm, STV Network every Thursday from 9-10pm, and wapTV every Thursday from 8-9pm. However, each episode of the drama series is uploaded on YouTube: “waptvchannel” every Friday.
