A teacher named Kate Chiloane was shot dead by her husband in Mpumulanga, South Africa at about 8am in Sediba Sa-thuto primary school.
The class teacher was teaching the grade two pupils of the school when an armed man stormed in and shot her which left the students terrified.
According to information from police source it was discovered that the man who perpetuated the act was her 40 year old husband.
Early investigation showed that the husband was later found dead at his home with a bullet wound in his head.
Investigations are still ongoing as to why the incident happened. The police has also deployed its officers from the wellness department to render counseling services to the terrified students, teachers and family of the deceased.
