The SIFAX group has congratulated the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Dr Abubakar Dantsoho on his election as vice president (Africa) of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).
A letter by the SIFAX group chairman, Dr Taiwo Afolabi, said it was a well deserved recognition of Dantsoho’ s exceptional and immense contributions to the maritime industry in Nigeria, as well as evidence to a distinguished career.
He noted many achievements recorded, stressing that this one was not meant for him alone but for Nigeria and Africa.

He assured that the managing director would use his new role to foster and strengthen the continent, in collaboration with the global maritime industry for the benefit of Africa and good governance.
“We in SIFAX are proud of your achievements, vision and resilience,” Afolabi stated.
