ModeL , a 26-year-old talented musician hailing from Okposi Obinaofia Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu LGA Enugu State, is making waves in the music industry with his unique style of Afrobeats.
The artist whose real name is Ozoekwo Victor Ebube stated that he
started recording songs in 2015, stressing that music has always been a way of life for him. His journey was ignited by the influence of acclaimed artist Wizkid, which inspired him to bring his written songs to life. Taking a bold step, he ventured into the studio to record one of his creations.
ModeL’s music is characterized by its focus on Afrobeats for Hustle and Happiness, encapsulating authenticity and originality in every note. His inspiration derives from a blend of divine guidance, his dreams, the challenging socio-political landscape of his homeland, and of course, the power of a great beat.
He recently unveiled his EP titled Manumission, featuring a collaboration with the talented Zaya L.A. The EP has garnered widespread attention and acclaim, solidifying his place as a noteworthy figure in the Nigerian music scene.
Model impact extends beyond the studio. He has headlined numerous shows, captivating audiences from the East to the West. Currently, he is on tour to promote his trending EP, Manumission, and fans can anticipate an electrifying performance at the upcoming Lagos Student Beach Party in December.
