Ramadan: Kebbi Gov reduces work hours for civil servants

The Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved the reduction of official work hours for civil servants in the State in the spirit of the Ramadan fast.

This is contained in a statement from the State Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training, dated 12th,March 2024 and made available to newsmen this Tuesday by the Commissioner in the ministry, Auwal Manu Dogondaji.

 

According to the statement, the official time frame has been reduced by two hours daily. Consequently, the new working hours from Monday to Thursday is 8:00 am to 2:00 pm while on Friday is from 8:00 am to 12 :00 noon.

The statement says, normal working hours will be reverted to the status quo at the end of the Ramadan period.

The Commissioner is quoted as saying that the magnanimity of the Governor is in the spirit of the Blessed Month of Ramadan and to give civil servants the opportunity to discharge their normal religious activities with ease.
