Talented singer, Temitope Elizabeth Badmus Onifade aka Queen Madiva, last Sunday celebrated her birthday with the release of a new album, Party Vibes.
The birthday and album listening party, which held at Ambiance Lounge, Ikeja, Lagos, was chaired by the CEO of Chemstar Group, Dr Emmanuel Aderemi Awode. It had in attendance celebrities like Iyabo Ojo, Afrosonic, AY Covenant, Jazzy Tee, Femi Solar, Oyinlomo Diamond, Mega 2, City People magazine founder, Seye Kehinde and Madiva fans from all over the country.
Queen Madiva Band thrilled guests with performances from Party Vibes album, a 50-minute music medley featuring tunes from different genres like reggae, Amapiano, hip hop, blues, juju, fuji, Apala, folklores etc. Speaking about the album, Queen Madiva said: “Party Vibes is all about party songs. I have (in it) many genres consisting of oldies and new school.”
A Physics graduate of University of Ilorin, Queen Madiva worked as a TV host but for her, music was a bigger draw. She formed Queen Madiva Band in 2012 and went on to release albums like Anumorigba, Ijoba Focus, Party Experience, Special Live, Praise Gyration, Praise Party and Party Vibes, with many more to follow soon.
