Property mogul, Bisi Onasanya turns bellwether of generosity

There is no gainsaying the fact that the society has been so kind to Dr. Olabisi Stephen Onasanya as a top brass banker culminating as a successful two-term Group Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Since he retired as banking stalwart and turned his gaze on the luxury segment of the real estate sector through his firm, The Address Homes Limited, Onasanya has been harvesting sumptuous fruits. Not taking this special grace for granted, Onasanya believes that as individuals, we should always remember where we are coming from. This has turned him into a bellwether in the acts of generosity to others as he now sees sharing love as a sacred devotion and has to give back to the society.

Early this week, Onasanya took his act of generosity to another level and in furtherance of his vision to support education through his philanthropic works; he donated a completed multi-million naira block of classrooms to the Ilara Community in Epe, Lagos State. The block of six classrooms with a fully-equipped library at Ilara Model Primary School was commissioned by Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara-Epe Kingdom. One of the major highlights at the presentation of the blocks of classroom event was the bestowment of the chieftaincy title of Akinrogun and Yeye Akinrogun of Ilara Kingdom on Onasanya and his wife, Helen, by the elated Oba Ogunsanwo, who approved the land for the construction of the project because it aligned with his vision for the kingdom.
