Prof Umeadi to grace ICAN 52nd Annual Accountants Conference

The presidential candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof.Peter Umeadi would be the special guest speaker at this year’s Institute of Chartered Accountants Conference, which would hold from October 10-14 2022 in Abuja.
The Annual Accountants Conference is a major platform for ICAN’s advocacy and thought leadership programmes, which attracts over 5000 Accountants from public practice, commerce and industry, public sector, academia, as well as leaders from other professional accountancy organizations across the globe.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Nigeria: Adopting Sustainability For Economic Prosperity” and it would focus on economic recovery and sustainability.
The letter of invitation was signed by the Malam Tijiani Musa,the 58th ICAN President.
“We are pleased to inform you that the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria is organizing its 52nd Annual Accountants Conference from October 10-142022 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. In view of the economic, social, political and security challenges bedeviling our nation, the institute considers the conference an opportunity for your party to address expected delegates on workable solutions to resolve these numerous challenges and move the nation forward.
The governing council and the over 56,000 members of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria will appreciate it if your Excellency would graciously accept to attend and speak for 15 minutes at the conference as one of the six special guest speakers at the session on Wednesday 12 October 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.” The letter read in part
