Prince Osborn Umahi: Biography of Nigeria’s young businessman who walks in his father’s footsteps

thumbnail-1

Not many offspring of governors are known to be industrious and enterprising in business, but Prince Osborn Nweze Umahi, the son of Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi, is an exception.

Indeed Prince Osborn Nweze Umahi has an interesting Biography and intimidating Profile.

Prince Nweze is first son of the Ebonyi State governor. He left Nigeria at 15 years old to study Engineering at Surrey University in the United Kingdom and graduated in 2019 at the age of 21 with his bachelor’s degree.

Against the expectation of many, he returned home and has, in a few years, distinguished himself as an entrepreneur.

Aside from founding Osborn Foundation, he became the director of finance at Forte GCC Innovative Solutions, an enterprise that is focused on the management of financial assets, where he handles a portfolio that cut across real estate, stocks and bonds amongst others.

He is also the Managing Director of Brass Oil and Construction Limited, founded by hisp father.

He is equally the Chief Executive Officer, of Osborn Lapalm Royal Resort.

The young businessman has also been involved in giving back to Nigeria through his Osborn Foundation which in recent months donated books and writing materials to kids in Ebonyi and Kano States as well as getting some out-of-school children back to school in the South East state.

Overall, it is believed that Osborn Umahi is following in his father’s footsteps―“I always knew I would follow the footsteps of my father,” he once admitted― pointing to his choice of studying engineering and going into business. For this reason, many are guessing that he will likely follow his father into politics, especially as he was seen recently meeting political figures including Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in the company of his father.
