For Lagos Prince, Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, he believes in a good name. Though he has royal blue blood running through his veins as one of the offspring of the highly revered late Oba Adeyinka Oyekan, the affable Prince considers as top priorities diligence and leaving indelible footprints for the sake of posterity.

Over the years, Oyekan has proven to be a nonconformist who carves a niche for himself as a time-tested technocrat, boardroom guru, politician and public servant. The Lagos State University-trained lawyer with over two and a half decades of experience post-bar has continued to make a loud statement after leaving a flourishing private sector to venture into public service with stints in various capacities.

The latest was his 2021 appointment as the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA). And since mounting the saddle, Oyekan has revamped the one-time nearly moribund alternate security and paramilitary outfit established by the Lagos government to provide helping hands, bring security closer to the people, gather intelligence and work with relevant security agencies to ensure a safer Lagos. With his charismatic composure and demeanour, the Lagos Prince has made the agency a pride and envy to other government agencies in the state. As part of a rebranding process, Oyekan is said to currently infuse into the agency a research and documentation unit, Forensic unit, Situation Room, Water Ways surveillance, and drone deployment to further ensure a safer Lagos.
