Osinbajo directs board appointees to resume pending Senate confirmation

The Acting President,  Yemi Osinbajo, has directed that the appointees into important Federal Institutions, to resume duties in acting capacities only,‎  pending the confirmation of their appointments by the Senate.

This is to ensure that there is no vacuum, according to a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Bolaji Adebiyi.

The appointees are: National Pension Commission, Alhaji Ali Usman Ahmed, Acting Chairman, Mr. Funso Doherty, Acting Director-General, Mr. Manasseh T. Denga, Acting Executive Commissioner, Abubakar Z. Magawata, Acting Executive Commissioner, Ben Oviosun, Acting Executive Commissioner, and Nyerere Anyim, Acting Executive Commissioner.

For Code of conduct Bureau: ,Dr. Muhamma Isah, Acting Chairman, while the acting members are Murtala Kankia, Emmanuel E. Attah, Danjuma Sado, Ubolo I. Okpanachi , Ken Madaki Alkali , Prof. S. F. Ogundare,Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat,‎Saad A. Abubakar and Dr. Vincent Nwanli. For Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye -Acting Chairman.
