Theatre Commander of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Major General Leo Irabo, on Wednesday, declared that activities of the unit will soon wind up.
Operation LAFIYA DOLE was charged with wiping out terrorists from Sambisa Forest and adjoining camps.
Gen. Irabor disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists in Maiduguri. He maintained that once the troops are disengaged, security of the area would be taken over by regular police and other paramilitary services.
