Omolafe empowers youths in constituency

The member representing Akure North/South federal constituency, Hon. Adedayo Omolafe, has empowered his constituents.
As part of his plans to see to the empowerment of the youths across Akure South/North Constituency, the federal lawmaker, only recently, embarked on the training of youths across the 23 wards.
These youths were trained in various programmes such as Agroforestry which includes snail farming, apiary, seedling production, mushroom cultivation, grass cutter rearing and business enterprise development.
Also, the lawmaker gave out a sum of N50,000 to 200 participants each of the training programme in startup capital.
Omolafe, who was represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Ranti Fakinlede, described the training as one out of the numerous programmes that will be initiated for youth empowerment and development in the constituency.
He highlighted that many notable projects is being carried out by Omolafe which include the electrification of Igbatoro-Ala community, building of event centre at Osi, youth and widow intervention programmes, completion of the ongoing Akure Civic center opposite Agbogbo filling station among others.
He equally said that the youths should expect more while all sectors will be touched by Omolafe. I can assure you “the market women, the artisans, the youths and students, our revered traditional rulers and the good people of Akure North and South should expect that Hon. Omolafe will not fail his responsibility of good representation in bringing dividends of democracy to the people,” Fakinlede said.
All the participants appreciated Omolafe for the good gesture and good representation in giving back to his people. They urge him not to relent in his efforts at giving quality representation at the green chamber.
