The Nigeria Police has appointed CSP Okuwobi Oluseyi Olabisi as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).
Her appointment takes immediate effect. The Chairman, Board of Trustees, Nigeria Police Trust Fund, IGP Suleiman Abba (Rtd), made the disclosure in Abuja yesterday.
Until her appointment, she was the Divisional Police Officer of the Ejigbo Police Division, Lagos. Okuwobi holds university degrees in English, Peace and Conflict Studies. This is in addition to her current PhD programme in Diaspora and Transnational Studies at the University of Ibadan.
She has been described as a distinguished officer with tremendous potentials, especially considering her experience as one time Public Information Officer (PIO) to the United Nations Police (UNPOL) under the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
